Reside Worldwide continues expansion of EMEA team
US: Reside Worldwide, a provider of professionally operated and managed global alternative accommodations, has announced that its EMEA team is continuing to grow with the significant appointment of a new director of sales for the region.
The move follows a successful year for the company which celebrated global growth of its Reside 3Sixty platform by 32 per cent last year.
Jessica Sharpe joined the Reside team from their UK office last month and is reporting to Juliet Howie, vice president global enterprise sales, whose hire to the company was revealed in June this year. In her new role, Sharpe will be responsible for engaging and developing new business opportunities for Reside amongst the top global corporate companies in the market.
Sharpe has been involved in the corporate travel and hospitality markets since 2010 and held the director of sales position at both National Corporate Housing and BridgeStreet. She is also an active member of a number of industry organisations, including the Institute of Travel Management [ITM], the Global Business Travel Association [GBTA] and the Travel and Meeting Society [TAMS], choosing to spend her time focused on key industry issues like diversity, equality and inclusion.
Lee Curtis, CCHP, chief executive officer and founder of Reside, said: “We’re delighted that Jessica is joining Reside with her sales expertise in the serviced apartment, extended stay and international hospitality industries. This hire marks another step forward in our expansion in the EMEA market that was enabled by our tech platform, Reside 3Sixty, during the pandemic.
“Our 3Sixty network now has over a million vetted, high-quality accommodations at our clients’ disposal and is helping clients resume safe relocation of their employees worldwide,” he added.
Both Sharpe and Howie will be representing the Reside team at the Business Travel Show Europe in London between 30 September and 1 October.
