UK / Spain: Luxury villa rental holiday specialist Oliver’s Travels has completed the acquisition of luxury villa rental operator Menorca Private Owners, located on the island of Menorca in Spain.
It marks Oliver’s Travel’s largest acquisition to date since its founding in 2013, adding 32 new homes to its portfolio. The company now manages 159 villa rental properties in Menorca as a result.
The transaction had been hinted at by the company earlier this year.
In July, the operator bought French regional property management company Homes & Provence [23 exclusive villas] as well as purchasing 27 new villas in Lapland, Finland. At the time, it said that it was “actively pursuing” more international strategic acquisitions and that it was expecting to close two further “significant deals” by the end of 2024.

Following its latest transaction, Oliver’s Travels now manages more than 1,400 holiday homes in Spain. The company has an existing footprint across Europe, the United States, the Caribbean and Central America, Africa and Asia, with properties including villas, châteaux, castles, stately homes, beach huts, hobbit houses, ski chalets and cottages.
