UK: More than 200 industry thought leaders, innovators and disruptors gathered for the sixth annual Shortyz Awards at the five-star The Westin Hotel, London with 20 fresh winners from across the global short-term rental industry crowned on the night [1 April]
The event was hosted by ShortTermRentalz outgoing editor Paul Stevens and editor Priya Khaira alongside Bridgerton host, Shelley Conn. The evening was filled with entertainment including an opera performance and magic act.
The 20 award categories were judged by an independent panel consisting of investors, consultants and experts, before a short voting period was held. All of the winners were decided by a 50:50 split between judge scores and the public vote apart from our new Guest Experience Award which was decided solely by judge scores.
This years’ awards received more than 2000 no-cost entries. The reach of the awards has also reached unprecedented levels with entries submitted from 30 countries worldwide this year, resulting in our biggest shortlist ever with 132 names.
