UK: Cornwall-based holiday lettings company Finest Retreats has launched a proprietary operations app designed to support housekeeping and property management across its UK portfolio.
The company said the app is the first built in-house by a UK holiday lettings operator and has been developed specifically for the UK market. It was created over a 12-month period in partnership with a Cornwall-based technology provider.
The app is designed to streamline housekeeping workflows, allowing teams to manage property-specific cleaning checklists, report incidents, submit photo and video feedback, and respond to guest requests in real time. It integrates directly with booking systems so issues can be identified and resolved before guest arrival.
Finest Retreats said the technology also includes built-in compliance tools, such as fire safety checks and regulatory tracking, helping property owners meet evolving standards as licensing requirements tighten.
As part of the rollout, the company has created a new role to manage implementation and ongoing operations. Hayley Mason has been appointed to oversee deployment of the app across the business.
Finest Retreats said early use of the app has reduced manual administration, improved visibility for property managers and owners, and helped teams identify and resolve issues more efficiently.
The app was launched earlier this month and is now in use by Finest Retreats’ housekeeping teams across the UK on both iOS and Android devices.
