US: Short-term rental analytics company KeyData has promoted Scott McLeod to president as the company looks to support its next phase of growth and product development.
McLeod has been the company’s chief operating officer since 2018 and has been with the company for over eight years. During that time, he has overseen areas including customer success, product delivery, partnerships and team development.
The promotion follows the appointment of former president Dustin Downing as chief executive officer earlier this year. The pair will continue working together as KeyData expands its customer base of property managers, destination marketing organisations and enterprise partners in the US and international markets.
In his new role, McLeod will focus on customer relationships, product delivery and team development. Longer-term priorities will include international growth, strategic partnerships and further product innovation.
McLeod commented on his appointment, saying: “KeyData has built something really special in the quality of the data and the team and the relationships we have with our customers. My focus is on building on that foundation: supporting our customers as their businesses grow, continuing to develop our product, and helping the team do their best work.”
The appointment comes during a period of growth for the company. KeyData has recently introduced a new platform called Owner Acquisition Platform, which aims to empower vacation rental managers to strategically target and acquire new property assets through a data-driven solution.
