US: Vacation rental management group StayTerra has appointed Amy Kothari as chief executive officer with immediate effect.
Kothari will lead StayTerra’s operations and growth strategy, which includes expanding through acquisitions while retaining the identities of its regional property management brands.
She has 25 years of leadership experience across residential and commercial services, including more than two decades with private equity-backed companies.
Kothari most recently served as president and CEO of property restoration company INTACT Property Restoration, where she remains chair of the board. She previously led My Alarm Center for almost 20 years.
Kothari said: “What sets us apart is that we pair the hyper-local expertise of trusted regional brands with the technology, capital and operational discipline of a scaled national platform.”
StayTerra is backed by investment companies Garnett Station Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. Its portfolio includes Vacation Homes of Hilton Head, Cape & Coast and Prime Vacations in Florida, and Moving Mountains in Colorado.
Rafi Haramati, partner at Garnett Station Partners, said the group remained focused on growing StayTerra through “strategic partnerships and acquisitions”.
