US: Airbnb has announced three senior leadership appointments over the past few days, including the former head of generative AI at Meta.
The company has appointed Ahmad Al-Dahle as Chief Technology Officer. He joins from Meta, where he led the generative AI division and oversaw development of the Llama family of open-source AI models. Previously, Al-Dahle spent more than a decade at Apple.
Alongside the CTO appointment, Airbnb has expanded Jesse Stein’s remit, naming him Global Head of Hotels in addition to his existing role as Global Head of Real Estate.
Airbnb has also appointed Lou Zameryka to help shape the company’s future hotels strategy through his role as global head of hotel enterprise and connectivity partnerships.
