Germany: API-first property management platform Apaleo debuted an agentic AI layer embedded in its hotel operations system.

Staff will be able to utilise Apaleo Copilot through a chat interface. The firm said Copilot will be able to handle tasks like checking arrivals, extending stays, planning housekeeping, resolving overbookings, and assigning rooms under one integrated platform.

The AI tool will integrate directly into a businesses’ ongoing operations, rather than going to market as a separate service. Hospitality businesses will be able to upload plain-text operating procedures and internal process details to train their agents.

Another feature of the platform is third-party connectivity, creating agent-to-agent pathways and outside app networks.

Apaleo said this course of action allows for Copilot not just to carry out tasks but understand the context behind them. Designed to be flexible, it will adapt to a businesses’ operations over time.

“Hospitality teams are under constant pressure to move quickly, solve problems, and deliver great guest experiences,” Apaleo CEO Ulrich Pillau said. “The last thing they need is another dashboard. We built Apaleo Copilot to be practical from day one, helping staff complete real tasks in natural language inside the system they already use. It is a much simpler, more natural way to bring AI into operations.”
