bnbme holiday homes enters into partnership with Marriott Bonvoy

UAE: Dubai-based short-term rental property management company bnbme holiday homes has entered into a memorandum of understanding [MoU] with Marriott Bonvoy.

The partnership will ensure that Marriott Bonvoy brand members can access and book holiday homes managed by bnbme holiday homes in both the United Arab Emirates [UAE] and India [Goa]. Through the agreement, guests will be able to earn, accumulate and pay using Bonvoy points.

bnbme holiday homes CEO Vinayak Mahtani said: “While this partnership will allow bnbme to showcase its set of properties to a different platform or travellers, it also credits our processes to be trusted by a brand such as Marriott.”

The news comes as some emirates in the UAE, such as Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, are introducing regulatory frameworks that simplify the system for renting out holiday homes. As such, more owners and operators look set to be required to access an electronic registration portal to register their residential units on a short-term rental basis.

As a result, it will be easier for owners and operators to acquire short-term rental permits and convert their properties for the desired use as holiday homes.

The UAE is also stepping up its efforts to strengthen its tourism and hospitality offerings, including adding to and diversifying from its existing core accommodation portfolio of four- and five-star hotels, as well as tourist resorts, to boost investor interest.

bnbme holiday homes CEO Vinayak Mahtani will join the STRz webinar on “What happens when it all goes wrong? Prevention techniques to avoid catastrophe” on Tuesday 6 June [4pm BST] – sign up for free at this link.

IHM will also return to Dubai for its Urban Living MEA [Middle East & Africa] event on 13-14 November at the Rove Dubai Marina. Urban Living MEA is the only B2B conference in the MEA region for the serviced apartment, branded residence, aparthotel, corporate accommodation and short-term rental sectors.
