Business Design Centre set to open doors for first HOST event
UK: The Business Design Centre in London will open its doors for the inaugural HOST event on 31 October and 1 November 2019, and in doing so, it looks set to be one of Europe’s most important short stay accommodation events.
HOST is a free-to-attend conference and world-class exhibition centre welcoming thousands of visitors across two days to capitalise on the $170bn and growing market of holiday rentals. The global revolution in accommodation services has spawned an entirely new ecosystem of hosts, those who invest in and rent our properties, and holiday rental platforms, intermediaries and technologies.
The event will equip attendees with the knowledge, tools and partnerships to be able to compete in this ever-changing landscape.
Google’s global business manager of travel, Shaun Aukland, has said: “I’m excited to participate in HOST and see the holiday rental community come together to discuss how to succeed and the road ahead!”
The HOST exhibition centre will feature over 200 solution providers from across the hospitality sector, such as HomeAway, GuardHog, Airbnb, Yapstone, Guesty, Klevio, City Relay, Your Rentals, GuestReady, Super Control, Codelocks, Sharebox, Chetu, PriceLabs, Kigo, Airlinen, Pikl, Spotahome, Zeevou and many more.
Adam Edgell-Bush, co-founder of startup Homyze, says: “HOST has quickly established itself as the primary London event for the rapidly growing short-term rental industry. It promises to be a great show with participation from inspiring people actively involved in changing the real estate landscape.
“The team and I at Homyze are looking forward to being part of this event,” he added.
HOST is excited to partner with so many important industry names, none more so than HomeAway, title sponsor of the 2019 event.
Karen Mullins, regional director for UK and Ireland at HomeAway, says: “We’re delighted to be one of the sponsors of the first HOST event. As a global market leader for holiday rentals, our mission is to support holidaymakers from all over the world in finding their perfect match holiday home to create unforgettable holiday memories in our partners’ properties.
“We’re looking forward to introducing new partners to the advantages of working with HomeAway as well as networking with existing partners at this new and exciting industry event.,” she added.
