Guesty joins forces with luggage shipping service LugLess
Israel: Property management platform Guesty has announced a partnership with next-generation luggage shipping service LugLess, which offer guests the ability to ship their luggage to and from any property in the US.
The offering is the latest partnership to complement Guesty’s existing marketplace which already boasts integrations with OTAs including Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway and more.
By partnering with LugLess, property managers with short-term rentals in the US who manage their listings on Guesty’s platform can directly integrate with the service, encouraging guests who travel by flight to their properties to use a more cost-competitive alternative to carrying or ‘lugging’ bags through the airport and paying what the company calls “often exorbitant airline baggage fees”.

The Guesty platform enables property management companies and professional property managers to streamline the complex operational tasks associated with short-term rentals. This includes 13 core features including a multi-calendar tool that syncs all bookings in one place and a unified inbox that centralises all guest communication in one centralised location – the Guesty dashboard.
The company has customers across more than 70 countries who manage hundreds of thousands of listings in total.

LugLess rates start at $15 to ship a bag within the US, with the average shipment costing less than the $70 fee that most airlines charge for checking the first two checked bags.
