USA: Luxury vacation rental firm Nocturne Luxury Villas has appointed Scott Wiseman as its new CEO.
Speaking to Travel Weekly, Wiseman said that he would work alongside his team members to strengthen and grow “mutually beneficial partnerships” with advisers, before the Rhode Island-based company launches new initiatives in the coming months.
Prior to the new role, Wiseman served as senior vice president and general manager of Apple Leisure Group Vacations, where he headed up six travel brands. He also previously held senior roles at hospitality group Accor, luxury tour operator Cox & Kings, Abercrombie & Kent and Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club.
The new CEO will join a diverse group of luxury travel and hospitality executives at Notcture Luxury Villas, including president and co-founder, Marshall Calder [formerly of The Leading Hotels of the World], and executive chairman and co-founder, Scott Simmons [formerly of Andrew Harper Travel, Abercrombie & Kent and investment bank Cazenove & Co.].
Wiseman said: “While NLV is a relatively new company, our pedigree is a decades-long marriage of luxury and leadership. The villa rental companies in our portfolio are legacy brands that are the leaders in their destinations, and the team at the helm of NLV have led some of the most prestigious brands in travel.”
