Worldwide: In the run up to November’s Urban Living Festival 2020, ShortTermRentalz is launching a new webinar series, entitled ‘RockSTRz’.
The fortnightly webinar series is designed to encourage hospitality and real estate professionals to think differently. The sessions, which are launching in September, will offer a snapshot of what attendees can expect at the Urban Living Festival 2020: stay-live-work, 25-26 November at Tobacco Dock, London.
Curated specifically for property managers and owners, investors, developers, service providers and suppliers, the no cost webinars will provide an in-depth look to the future of the short-term / vacation rental industry as we collectively map the rebound from the pandemic. Each discussion, debate, and live Q&A will be hosted by STRz editor Paul Stevens, who will be joined by ‘RockSTRz’ at the cutting edge of contemporary hospitality.
What is the definition of RockSTRz?
RockSTRz are non-conformists, trendsetters and innovators leading the recovery of the industry and galvanising their teams in these uncertain times. They lead the way by breaking new ground and, most importantly, they challenge the status quo of the space to move the sector forward.
The webinar series will cover the following topics:

• The rise of bespoke booking channels
• Around the world in 60 mins: What has the industry learned from the pandemic and what are the next steps for recovery?
Scheduled to go live on 15 September, the webinars aim to stimulate innovation through debate and foster ideas ahead of the Urban Living Festival 2020. The two-day event, created in response to the convergence of hospitality and real estate asset classes, places an intense focus on defining how we stay, live and work.
The UK Government’s announcement that conferences and exhibitions can go ahead from 1 October 2020 marks ULF as one of the first face-to-face and in-person industry events.
