Ireland: Holiday rental platform Simply Owners has launched in Ireland through a partnership with the Irish Self-Catering Federation (ISCF).
The collaboration allows more than 5,000 properties registered with the federation to list on Simply Owners’ platform and connect directly with guests.
Simply Owners operates on a subscription-based model that allows property owners to manage enquiries and bookings directly, rather than paying commission to online travel agencies.
The company said the launch is intended to support self-catering operators seeking to increase direct bookings and reduce reliance on large booking platforms.
Ireland’s self-catering accommodation sector is largely made up of independent and family-run businesses, many of which use online travel agencies to reach international visitors.
According to Simply Owners, Ireland receives more than six million international visitors annually.
Rebecca Ward, founder of Simply Owners said the partnership provides property owners with a way to secure bookings without paying commission or giving up control of guest communication.
ISCF members will receive a discounted first-year subscription to the Simply Owners platform as part of the partnership.
