France: French camping group Aquadis Loisirs has unveiled its new brand name as Terracamps and an updated strategy for 2025.
The refreshed identity is designed to reflect values of simplicity, authenticity and discovery, according to CampingBusiness.eu.
As per group general manager Morgane Lesueur, the Terracamps brand name was chosen to highlight its connection to nature and the authenticity of outdoor holidays, while being memorable for both domestic and international customers. It has, however, retained its slogan of ‘Nature Campsites’ while enhancing its image with a mascot and a new brand jingle.
Another update for Terracamps is the launch of a franchise network that will be open to independent campsites. The project has been developed in partnership with consultancy firm Headlight.
Franchisees gain access to comprehensive management support, guidance and advanced tools to boost occupancy rates and revenue, staff training programmes and networking opportunities, negotiated supplier agreements with favourable pricing, and enhanced visibility through national and international promotional campaigns.
Each franchisee must be a three-star campsite with between 150 and 200 pitches [at least 60 of which are unserviced] located close to bodies of water, have a minimum annual revenue of €200,000, and be able to commit to achieving either a Clef Verte or Destination d’Excellence environmental certification in the space of two years.
Founded in 1996, the group currently has 18 facilities and reported a revenue of €7.5 million for this year. Looking ahead into next year, Terracamps wants to recruit between five and ten franchisees in 2025.
