Thornley Leisure Parks adds tenth site to portfolio in Caernarfon

UK: North Wales-based holidayย park group Thornley Leisure Parks hasย acquired Morfa Lodge Holiday Park near Caernarfon to add to its portfolio.ย

As a result, Morfa Lodge Holiday Park becomes the tenth site in Thornley Leisure’s portfolio, following a bumper 2022 which included the purchase of Gallaber Park in North Yorkshire in November.

Thornley Leisure Parks managing director David Thornley said: “We are delighted to welcome Morfa Lodge Holiday Park and its owners to the Thornley Leisure Parks family. The park is the perfect place to enjoy a break in North Wales and we look forward to building on its success in the region.

“Itโ€™s been a fantastic year for all our parks, and we canโ€™t wait to meet our new guests and owners at Morfa Lodge,” he added.

The group’s director, Libby Richards, said: โ€œWe are very grateful to the Livingston family for entrusting the future of the park to us. After 50 years of hard work, they deservedly take great pride in the park.

“The same family-run, family-friendly ethos is central to the Thornley Leisure Parks offering, and weโ€™re all excited to see what comes next for the park,” she added.

The holiday park is located between the foothills of Eryri [Snowdonia] and the beach of Dinas Dinlle, having previously been run by the Livingston family for close to five decades.

Established in 1962, Thornley Leisure Parks provide options for holiday home ownership, touring pitches and caravan holidays.
