Vienna: TourRadar has launched Hosted Trips, a product aimed at helping creators and travel agents turn their audiences into confirmed travel bookings.

The company said Hosted Trips allows hosts to create dedicated, bookable departures powered by TourRadar’s payments and operator infrastructure.

Hosts share a booking link, fill a departure and travel alongside the group, while TourRadar manages payments, fulfilment and customer support.

TourRadar said the new product enables creators and agents to monetise their audiences directly, while unlocking incremental demand across its global network of more than 2,500 operators in over 160 countries.

The platform cited internal data showing tours featuring user-generated video convert 29 per cent higher than those without, while 85 per cent of bookings occur on tours with at least one verified traveller review. Mobile app users who view two or more short-form videos are twice as likely to book.

Travis Pittman, co-founder and chief executive of TourRadar, said AI is changing how travellers research trips, but not what ultimately drives bookings.

“In a world where AI can summarise any review and surface any itinerary, what actually makes a travel platform valuable is real content from real people, combined with the operational infrastructure that turns intent into a confirmed departure,” Pittman said.

He added that creators and agents can now earn commission from Hosted Trips, as well as ongoing revenue from content produced during travel.
