Worldwide: Travel tech company Unwrapped has announced the launch of Curator, a dedicated solution for the short stay industry.
Curator is a mobile tool that can allow hosts to provide curated, in depth guides on local areas to their various guests.
The company currently uses this technology to partner with larger groups, such as hotel groups and cruise lines. Unwrapped works with groups like Carnival Cruises, Selina, and The Student Hotel.
After signing up, Unwrapped will be able to provide hosts with local guides for their registered listing, all of which contain vetted recommendations in eight different categories. Hosts will also be able to offer curated services, admissions, and attraction tickets directly to guests, earning commission alongside this.
Unwrapped is offering inventory from Welcome Pickups, for airport transfers, and GetYourGuide, for attractions and tickets, with additional partnerships to be announced over the coming months.
Callum Hale-Thomson, Unwrapped’s VP of business development, said: “We are thrilled to be making Curator available to property managers across the globe. After months of beta testing and refinement with our trusted partners, we’re confident that the solution will help to supercharge guest experience, save hosts time and increase wallet share wherever it is used.”
Unwrapped has furthermore been adapting its technology to help property managers face the coronavirus pandemic. The app includes live health advice from government sources, and allows managers to mark safety measures they have taken in order to ensure a seamless contact-free experience for guests.
The platform will be available for purchase from 9 am GMT on 8 June, with basic subscriptions starting at £5.99 per listing.
