Worldwide: BookingPal has appointed Joel Schoen and Yohannes Semere as its VP of strategy and partnerships and VP of revenue management and analytics respectively.
The company, which is the leading provider of technology solutions for the vacation rental industry, appointed both senior executives to bring their wealth of experience in the vacation rental space. The pair will also play a pivotal role in the organisation’s growth plans for the future.
Schoen brings over fifteen years of experience in the vacation rental and lodging industries to BookingPal. He was most recently the senior director of strategy and business development for vacation rentals at Choice Hotels, where he helped launch and build Choice’s vacation rental business.
He was formerly the senior director of business development at Luxury Retreats, which was later acquired by Airbnb. He has also held leadership positions at Inspirato, One Key, Abercombie and Kent Destinations.
Equally, Semere will bring extensive experience in revenue management to BookingPal. He was most recently the senior director of revenue management and eChannels, as well as the director of global pricing strategy at Oakwood Worldwide, the premier provider of corporate housing and serviced apartments.
His previous roles include being the manager of strategy and analytics and regional director of revenue management for Intercontinental Hotel Group.
