US: Luxury vacation rental company Nomade Villa Collection LLC has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The company initially filed for Chapter 11 at Florida Southern Bankruptcy Court on February 4.
It manages luxury vacation rentals and yacht charters in multiple markets, including Miami, Ibiza, Mykonos, Los Angeles and Costa Rica.
The filing is designated as a Subchapter V small business case, indicating a streamlined reorganization process. The company has indicated that funds will be available for distribution to unsecured creditors.
The bankruptcy filing comes as the company maintains operations at its principal location in Miami’s Brickell area, where it manages a collection of luxury properties ranging from 3,300 to 10,000 square feet, capable of accommodating groups of eight to 20 guests.
The company’s named creditors include Houston-based investment firm Brasko Capital and Katherine Rogers.
