Germany: Munich-based vacation rental platform Holidu is integrating bestfewo.de into its network, expanding its host base in Germany as consolidation accelerates across the European short-term rental market.
Founded in 2008, bestfewo.de is one of Germany’s early vacation rental portals. The brand will remain active and continue operating in the market, while being technically integrated into Holidu’s software system.
Following the integration, hosts previously listing on bestfewo.de will migrate to Holidu’s property management platform, gaining access to direct online bookings, automated payment processing, centralised calendar management and data-driven pricing tools. Holidu will manage payment processing and oversee the booking infrastructure.
The transaction marks Holidu’s 13th strategic integration, underscoring the company’s acquisition-led growth strategy. Previous deals include the integrations of ferienwohnungen.de in Germany and gites.fr in France.
Holidu said rising regulatory requirements, competitive pressure from global platforms and increasing technology investment are pushing regional players towards consolidation.
The company currently manages nearly 60,000 properties through its proprietary software platform. It has raised more than €200 million to date and continues to pursue both organic growth and further strategic integrations.
