UK: Host & Guest has launched Host & Guest Fix+, a platform designed to help short-term rental hosts reduce out-of-hours guest calls and messages.
The platform guides guests through host-approved troubleshooting steps for common issues such as heating, hot water, appliance and access problems before escalating cases that require human intervention.
Guests can report issues through a QR code without downloading an app, while hosts receive support tickets with guest details and optional photos when follow-up is needed.
Daniel Bell said the platform was built to reduce the operational pressure of being constantly on call.
“The hardest part was never the turnovers or the bookings. It was living on standby,” Bell said.
“Fix+ is built so the only issues that reach you are urgent: health and safety risks, serious property damage, and genuine problems that need a human response.”
Host & Guest said AI is used during setup to help hosts create property-specific troubleshooting guidance, but guests only see content reviewed and approved by the host.
The company said the platform is aimed at hosts and property managers using platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo.
Host & Guest Fix+ is available with a 14-day free trial and no credit card requirement.
