UK: Revenue growth platform Pikl has appointed Simon Lehmann to its board as the company expands its commercial partnerships in the UK and international markets.

Lehmann brings more than two decades of experience in the vacation rental sector, having previously served as chief executive of Interhome and as a board member of HomeAway during its acquisition by Expedia Group. He most recently became director for Europe and the Global Association Network at the Short-Term Accommodation Association (STAA).

The appointment comes alongside a number of senior hires at Pikl, including Karen Mullins as head of customer marketing and Charlotte Savage as head of financial control, as the company strengthens its leadership team to support its next phase of growth.

Simon Lehmann said: “Pikl has found a genuinely new way to help property managers grow revenue by turning cancellation risk into opportunity. That is exactly where this industry needs to go.”

Louise Birritteri, founder and CEO of Pikl, said Lehmann’s experience leading major short-term rental businesses would support the company’s international expansion strategy.
