UK: Tech-enabled hospitality company GuestReady has taken over the management of the 28-room Crescent Hotel in Bloomsbury following its refurbishment and reopening.
Located on Cartwright Gardens, Crescent Hotel occupies a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse close to King’s Cross, St Pancras International, Euston and Russell Square.
The property previously operated as a family-run bed and breakfast for three generations before being acquired by its current owners.
Its refurbishment included the reconfiguration of 28 rooms, the introduction of in-room kitchenettes and upgrades to bathrooms and interiors. The work has retained the building’s period character while repositioning the property to combine hotel accommodation with the flexibility of serviced apartment stays.
GuestReady is responsible for pricing, distribution, revenue management, housekeeping, maintenance coordination and owner reporting. The company will also provide code-based self-check-in and digital guest communications, supported by locally based hospitality teams.
Chris Mitchell, UK managing director at GuestReady, said: “This launch is an important step in the growth of our hotel management offering in the UK.
“Crescent Hotel is exactly the type of asset where we believe GuestReady can add value: a well-located London property with strong fundamentals and year-round demand. Our role is to help owners build on that potential through a best-in-class guest experience, efficient operations supported by technology, advanced revenue management tools and diverse distribution channels.”
GuestReady said the surrounding mix of transport connections, universities, corporate offices, healthcare institutions and cultural attractions positions the property to attract leisure, business, academic and longer-stay guests.
The addition forms part of the company’s expansion across serviced apartments, aparthotels, boutique hotels and mixed-use hospitality buildings. GuestReady has secured more than 120 additional UK units since the beginning of 2026.
The opening comes as investment in UK hotels continues to grow. According to Savills, transaction volumes exceeded ÂŁ1.1 billion during the first quarter of 2026, up 63 per cent year-on-year, with London accounting for 68 per cent of the total.
Grand View Research valued the UK serviced apartment market at US$4.18 billion in 2024 and forecasts that it will reach US$8.82 billion by 2033.
Founded in 2016, GuestReady manages more than 7,000 rooms across Europe and the Middle East, with the properties under management valued collectively at more than US$2 billion.
