UK: Hotels, inns and B&Bs from across the UK and Ireland were recognised at the 2026 AA Hospitality Awards, held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London [21 September 2026].
Close to 1,000 guests attended the ceremony, which also marked the 70th anniversary of the AA Rosette award.
The Emory was named AA Hotel of the Year for London, while Calcot & Spa received the England award.
Crossbasket Castle in South Lanarkshire won the Scotland category, Porth Tocyn Hotel in Gwynedd represented Wales and Culloden Estate & Spa in County Down received the Northern Ireland award.
Firmdale Hotels was named AA Small Hotel Group of the Year.
Knockendarroch Hotel & Restaurant in Pitlochry received the Small Hotel Team of the Year award, while St Ermin’s Hotel in London was recognised as Large Hotel Team of the Year.
Lys-Na-Greyne in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, was named AA B&B of the Year. The Penny Bun in Otley received the Inn of the Year award and House of George W. Davies in Broadway won Restaurant with Rooms of the Year.
Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews was named Spa Hotel of the Year, while Malmaison & Hotel du Vin received the AA Sustainable Award.
David Morgan-Hewitt of The Goring received the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Adam Terpening, charity director at Room to Reward, was recognised with the Outstanding Contribution Award.
Simon Numphud, managing director of AA Hotel & Hospitality Services, said: “The AA Hospitality Awards exist to recognise the passion, dedication and high standards that go into delivering exceptional hospitality, and this year’s winners are a wonderful example of that.”
The ceremony also recognised restaurants, chefs, hospitality teams and new AA Rosette holders. Adam Byatt of Trinity Restaurant in London was named AA Chefs’ Chef of the Year after being selected by fellow AA Rosette-holding chefs.
