Abode PR announces new hires and rebrand

UK: Global B2B public relations agency Abode PR, which focuses on raising the profile of transformative technology solutions operating within the short-term rental, hotel and real estate ecosystems, is celebrating a successful start to the year with a host of new global clients, a growing team and a brand refresh.

An established authority in the global hospitality industry, Abode PR provides media relations, strategic communications services, content marketing and thought leadership development to a host of high-profile names in the space, including Operto, Breezeway and Safely.com.

This year has seen Abode PR add new clients to its portfolio, further strengthening its position as an expert in this niche space. New client wins for 2021 include PointCentral, Reside Worldwide Inc, Jetstream, BOOM, Leavetown.com, washbnb and Hostaway.

Since launch, the team has also supported Guesty, Rentals United, MyVR, BookingPal, ALTIDO, Reyvoos and Wishbox [now Duve].

The agency growth has been supported with three new hires to the team: Jen Childs and Laura Bolton joined Abode as PR specialists earlier this year, whilst Aaron Finn takes on the role of account executive.

Childs draws on her broad experience in PR and communications within the consumer insight industry, including Kantar, Bolton joins with solid PR agency experience working with both industry and consumer press for clients including Airbnb for Work and LinkedIn, whilst Finn comes fresh from completing a degree in journalism to support the team with media relations and client services.

In light of the success, Abode PR has also rebranded and launched a new website to reflect its standing as leading experts in the sector with deepening insight into property and hotel technology, as well as short-term rentals.

Jessica Gillingham, founder and director of Abode PR, said: “It’s been an exciting and busy time for Abode PR with new clients and a growing team and one we felt was worth celebrating. As the industry grows and evolves, we remain committed to this niche focus and feel we sit at the heart of the developing intersection between work, life and play in the property and hospitality markets.

“Our mission is to partner with technology solutions that are playing a lead role in this transformation. We look forward to continuing to support our clients, earning them the visibility, traction, authority and positioning they need in a competitive marketplace,” she added.
