Spain: Hospitality software provider Amenitiz has secured $45 million in Series B funding and financing as it aims to scale its AI-driven platform for independent hotels and accommodation operators.
The company has raised $45 million in a new funding round led by Spanish VC firm Kfund through its Leadwind fund. Thayer Ventures and Columbia Lake Partners also joined the round, alongside existing investors including Eight Roads, Point9, Otium, Backed and Chalfen Ventures.
Amenitiz said the capital will support further expansion across Europe and accelerate the rollout of AI-powered product features aimed at helping small and independent hotels streamline operations.
Co-founder and ceo Alexandre Guinefolleau said the rise of AI and the broader digital transformation of hospitality creates a “once-in-a-generation opportunity” for independents to compete more effectively.
The company has expanded its footprint from around 4,000 properties in 2022 to more than 15,000 today. Its previous funding round in 2022 raised $30 million and supported the acquisition of hotel e-learning provider Ododo.
Lucile Cornet, partner at Eight Roads Ventures, said independent hotels remain underserved by technology providers, adding that Amenitiz has shown there is significant demand for purpose-built solutions tailored to this segment.
The raise signals continued investor interest in AI-centred hospitality tools and follows broader trends across hotel tech, serviced apartments and hybrid accommodation platforms adopting automation to drive efficiency and guest experience.
