BridgeStreet plans travel app refinement

Worldwide: The pace of innovation and disruption by BridgeStreet in the extended stay business travel accommodation industry looks set to continue in 2019.

BridgeStreet, which claims to be the leading global travel platform of extended stay accommodations,ย is ย planning to refine its business travel mobile app, which allows users to search and compare extended stay accommodations in some 23,000 cities in over 130 countries, filtering by locations, dates, property types and prices.

The app’s secure login function permits multiple users from the same organisation to book global travel options more efficiently from any mobile device. It also supports single sign-in options for enterprises and has a shortcut to 24/7 customer support.

In addition, the pricing is transparent to users, so corporate travellers and travel managers can tailor the appโ€™s booking hub to comply with their company’s travel policies and budget parameters.

BridgeStreet president and CEO, Sean Worker, said: “We are forever committed to product advancement as we are defining an entire category of seven-plus night extended business stays globally. Improvements in mobile capabilities and access to more choices and sophisticated urban dwellings are simply a response to the evolving demand of today’s modern business traveller.

โ€œBridgeStreet is excited about 2019 being another banner year of technology development and unique client solutions,” he added.

The company has been redefining the extended stay, seven-plus night business travel category over the last year, notably with the launch of an upgraded self-service booking platform that sources accommodations through its โ€œSix Ways to Stayโ€ product line.
