CoralTree Hospitality debuts vacation rental collection

US: Hospitality group CoralTree Hospitality, which develops and manages independent hotels and resorts, has debuted its CoralTree Residence Collection, offering a portfolio of vacation rentals and residential resorts under management in Colorado and Hawaii.

The CoralTree Residence Collection will feature vacation rentals and residential resorts in Vail and Snowmass in Colorado, in addition to resort destinations on the Hawaiian islands of Kauai, Maui and Hawaii Island.

The CoralTree Residence Collection includes properties in Vail and Snowmass in Colorado and resort destinations on three Hawaiian islands: Kauai, Hawaii Island and Maui. Coraltree’s parent company is Lowe, which launched its hospitality business in 1973. The portfolio will include more than 1,100 residences and homeowner associations under management.

Services offered as part of the collection are: owner relations and renovation services; accounting and financial services; guest / concierge services; front desk and amenity management; maintenance and capital project oversight; marketing; distribution and pricing; housekeeping; asset management; and procurement.

Lowe, the parent company of CoralTree Hospitality, launched its hospitality management business in 1973 to offer residential resort management services. The real estate investor, developer and manager acquired Hyatt’s original vacation rental management business [36 properties in Colorado and Hawaii] in September 2023 and said that it would rebrand the management business then known as Destination Residences Management.

Tom Luersen, president, CoralTree Hospitality, said: “We are launching the CoralTree Residence Collection because we recognised an opportunity in the market. With our company’s deep roots in vacation rental management, we knew we’d be able to meet the demand and provide customised and enhanced support in this space.

“In late 2023, we substantially grew our portfolio of vacation rentals and are excited to further expand, operationalise and brand this collection to highlight our expertise in this area,” he added.

Mike Cuthbertson, SVP, residential resorts, CoralTree Hospitality, said: “The key to our long-standing success in the residential management industry has been simple: We keep focus on our personal relationships with homeowners and homeowner association boards.

“Our number one priority is amplifying value for our homeowners by appreciating the unique characteristics of each property. We tailor each operating model to enhance customer experience and our marketing plans to increase real estate values while providing long-term growth of each property’s unique brand equity.

“For our guests, we combine the best elements of a four-diamond hotel and vacation rental experience. We are a hospitality company at our core, but the CoralTree Residence Collection is purpose-built to service residential properties including resorts, vacation rentals and homeowner associations,” he added.
