Firefly Reservations and Hipcamp launch integration for campground operators

US: All-in-one campground reservation software Firefly Reservations has partnered with booking platform Hipcamp to launch a new integration aimed at expanding access to campsites across the US.

The integration allows Firefly users to sync availability, pricing and guest data directly with Hipcamp’s platform, which is used by over seven million travellers. According to Firefly, more than 1,200 campgrounds currently use its system across North America.

The agreement is designed to streamline operations for campground and RV park owners by enabling them to manage listings on Hipcamp without additional fees or manual work. Operators can retain full control over their listings and update them with images, descriptions and policies as needed.

Doug Kinney, president of Firefly Reservations, said: “The Hipcamp integration provides our parks with an effortless way to tap into a massive audience of regular campers, connecting them directly with the modern outdoor guest.”

Hipcamp founder and CEO Alyssa Ravasio added: “Our partnership with Firefly makes it simple for these operators to reach the millions of campers who use Hipcamp, without any added work or extra listing fees.”

The move follows recent growth for both companies. Hipcamp reported an increase in listings across its network of independent campgrounds and RV parks, while Firefly continues to expand its footprint in the outdoor accommodation market.

The booking platform also expanded recently by doubling its site listings in a bid to streamline the booking process for campers and drive new business to campground operators.
