Former Airbnb market manager Rinaldi joins Much Better Adventures

Rinaldi, who managed the launch and growth of Airbnb Adventures, has been appointed US head of adventure.

In her previous role as global Airbnb adventure market manager, Rinaldi promoted Airbnb’s range of multi-day experiences before being made redundant in May as Airbnb scaled back due to the pandemic.

Rinaldi, who will be based in California, said: “MBA is one of those companies that comes along once in a blue moon where you say ‘they are really special and I want to be a part of that’. Their ambition is inspiring so I feel extremely lucky to have joined the MBA team.”

Much Better Adventures co-founder Sam Bruce added: “Tanya brings with her a wealth of experience, particularly in the US market, so we are all delighted to have her onboard. Our sales have held up relatively well this year despite everything – much better than we expected. We know there’s massive global pent up demand for adventure travel in 2021/22 and beyond which Tanya has come in to help us serve.”

Much Better Adventures offers more than 130 adventures in 47 countries, with five per cent of revenues funding conservation and supporting remote families affected by Covid-19.
