Worldwide: The former senior director of global sales, marketing and delivery operations at Tesla, Dan Kim, has left to join Airbnb, where he will now be the director of Airbnb Plus.
Kim, who only joined the electric automaker in January, left his role at the company last month.
In his new role, Kim will head up Airbnb Plus, which inspects and designates high-standard homes and rooms available to rent on the platform.
Prior to joining Tesla, Kim held executive roles in marketing at the software firm Solera, which makes vehicle analytics, and he also claims to have founded a chain of frozen yogurt stores called Red Mango.
Kim is the second major sales executive to leave Tesla this year as CEO Elon Musk has struggled to retain the company’s senior managers.
