North America: Guesty has partnered with travel insurance platform Faye, enabling property managers to offer guests whole-trip protection and earn commission on plans purchased through their communications.
Under the link-based partnership, eligible Guesty customers can obtain a unique Faye partner link and add it to automated post-booking and pre-arrival messages. Guests following the link can receive a quote and purchase protection directly from Faye.
The arrangement does not involve a native technical integration between the platforms. Guesty says the link-based model allows property managers to begin offering the product without development work or a lengthy implementation process.
Property managers will receive compensation when guests purchase a plan through their individual tracking link, although the companies have not disclosed the commission rate.
Faye’s plans can cover eligible non-refundable accommodation costs when a traveller cancels for a covered reason. The company will manage guest assistance and the claims process, which the partners said could reduce the time property managers spend handling cancellation and refund conversations.
Elad Schaffer, co-founder and CEO of Faye, said: “By partnering with Guesty, we’re making it easy for property managers to offer their guests whole-trip protection while creating an additional revenue stream, without adding more work for their teams.”
Faye provides 24-hour support, travel alerts and digital reimbursements for approved claims. Its product is listed within the Guesty Marketplace as available in North America.
The partnership expands the range of insurance and risk-management products available through Guesty, which also lists travel protection services from other providers.
