US: Guesty has launched Guesty Pay Suite, an integrated payments system. The suite combines embedded payment processing with AI and machine learning tools to reduce chargebacks and protect operators from revenue loss linked to refunds, cancellations, and fraudulent transactions.
During a 12-month pilot involving US customers representing more than 30,000 properties, Guesty reported that chargebacks as a share of reservations fell by 62 per cent, while chargebacks as a share of payment volume decreased by 65 per cent. According to the company, the technology helped operators remain below major card-network compliance thresholds.
Guesty Pay Suite consists of two components: Guesty Pay, the platform’s native processor that supports deposits, refunds, cancellations, and OTA or direct-booking flows; and Guesty Pay Protect, a fraud-prevention system trained on STR and travel data.
Guesty said the tools give operators real-time visibility into transactions, faster payouts, and reduced payment failures, while blocking fraudulent activity before it occurs through risk scoring and 3D Secure authentication.
Tal Sossover, vice president of customer success at Guesty, said that generic processors often struggle with the “complexities of STR operations”, leading to delays and frozen funds. Sossover added that the new suite was designed to approve more legitimate bookings and reduce friction for operators as they scale.
Guesty’s platform supports more than 500,000 properties in over 100 countries and integrates with major OTAs, payment gateways, and regional financial tools.
