Hmlet Listed launches rental platform in three Asian markets

APAC: Hmlet Listed, developed by lifestyle accommodation operator Hmlet, launched its platform for landlords, agents and tenants last month across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

Hmlet Listed already represents more than 5,000 property owners who are leasing condos, apartments and coliving properties.

Rentals range from one to 12 months, and all contracts are handled online including digitally signed leases and online payment. Hmlet also offers virtual reality online tours to prospective tenants.

Leveraging the existing Hmlet business, the new platform plans to offer landlords and developers a range of value-added services such as interior design and furniture rental.

Leading the initiative are Michael Hogg and Anthony McDonald, who bring more than four decades of experience in the Asia Pacific real estate and hospitality markets.

Hmlet was founded in 2016 by Yoan Kamalski. The company caters to the mobile workforce and is the leading coliving company across Asia Pacific, operating in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Tokyo.

Hmlet provides a flexible 30-day notice period, serviced rooms and community perks for members.

Kamalski said: “Great co-living spaces are designed with the needs of members in mind. Think of it as the three C’s of co-living: cost, convenience and community. People want an affordable, hassle-free living experience in a community where they belong, so they’re free to focus on what’s important in life!”
