Homes & Villas by Marriott International lands in APAC
APAC: Homes & Villas by Marriott International [HVMI], Marriott Bonvoy’s curated collection of premium and luxury whole home rentals around the world, has announced its launch in Australia and New Zealand, marking the platform’s entrance into Asia Pacific [APAC].
The expansion into the new markets adds more than 350 premium and luxury homes to the platform in prime leisure destinations, including Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Orange in Australia, and Auckland and Queenstown in New Zealand.
With Australia’s interstate and international borders now open, and with New Zealand’s borders soon to follow, HVMI says that it is well positioned to meet the increasing demands from both domestic and overseas travellers for larger groups stays to experience the joy of reconnecting over travel together.
The homes provide members of Marriott’s travel programme, Marriott Bonvoy, with more options when they travel to complement Bonvoy’s existing offering of 29 hotels across 13 different brands in Australia and New Zealand. A number of the homes feature balconies, pools, gourmet kitchens and large entertaining areas that cater for gatherings.
Launched in May 2019 to provide Marriott Bonvoy members with more options when they travel, HVMI features homes that are professionally managed and selected to ensure that they meet the high product and service standards expected of the brand, in terms of design, cleanliness, safety, reliability and high-end amenities.
HVMI allows its 164 million+ members to earn and redeem points for all stays through the Bonvoy travel programme.

Following the launch in Australia and New Zealand, guests will have access to a range of different private home options, including countryside houses in vineyards, houses, lakeview villas, city apartments and penthouses.
Furthermore, Marriott Bonvoy members who book any of Homes & Villas’ private home rentals worldwide for more than five nights between 13 June 2022 and 22 June 2022, and complete their stay with check-out on or before 31 December 2022, will earn double points, plus a Free Night Award valid for a future stay at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels.
HVMI now provides access to more than 65,000 premium and luxury whole home rentals in over 700 prime destinations throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, the Caribbean and Latin America.
HVMI also recently claimed the accolade for Best OTA / online accommodation booking platform at the 2022 Shortyz Awards, held at Skyline London.
