Canada: All-in-one vacation rental software and management system, Hostaway, has integrated with Google, enabling customers to list their short-term rentals across Google Travel, Google Search and Maps.
Google’s suite of travel search products allows users to research trips and manage itineraries, including searching for flights and booking accommodation.
The Vacation Rentals feature, launched in 2019, enables prospective guests to browse short-term rentals – filtered by selected location, price and amenities — with real-time availability. Most importantly, they will be shown on Google Maps, which is commonly used to look for activities during and when planning trips.
The new collaboration between Hostaway and Google means billions of Google users will be able to discover properties listed by Hostaway customers, before being redirected to property managers’ own booking sites to make reservations.
Hostaway says that it is now the only PMS and channel manager that is a Preferred Plus Partner of Airbnb, an Elite Partner of Vrbo, a Premier Partner with Booking.com, and directly integrated with Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Expedia, Hopper Homes, the GDS and Google.
Last month, the company announced an $175 million capital investment, representing one of the largest single raises in the vacation rental technology sector to date.
Saber Kordestanchi, co-founder and COO of Hostaway, said: “This integration ensures vacation rentals listed by our customers are even more visible globally. With this partnership, property managers can look forward to maximising bookings and reducing gap nights by reaching the widest possible audience.
“This is an integration that will help any property manager with ambitions to scale achieve that more easily, while guests are provided with a pain-free customer journey that makes booking a vacation rental quick and hassle free,” he added.
