InsuraGuest now licensed in all 50 U.S. states

US: InsuraGuest Agency, a subsidiary of InsuraGuest technologies, has been licensed to sell insurance in the state of New York.

The company is now a licensed insurance agent allowed to sell in all 50 U.S. states and Washington DC.

InsuraGuest launched a unique $5 million hospitality coverage programme earlier this year, focusing on hotels and vacation rental properties. The addition allows them freedom to offer both coverage and the InsuraGuest technology platform to short-term rental properties worldwide.

Douglas Anderson, InsuraGuest CEO and chairman, said: “We are very excited to now offer our products and services throughout the United States in its entirety. We continue to expand and develop our product offerings to service our customers and build shareholder value, and the ability to provide true nationwide coverage marks a proud milestone for InsuraGuest.”

The company’s tech API is capable of integrating with up to 71 different different property management systems. This gives Insuraguest access to hundreds of hotels and vacation rental properties worldwide.

InsuraGuest has also been approved by the state of Utah to purchase risk. The state found the company to be fully in compliance with its insurance codes earlier this week.

Anderson said: “This is the last piece of the puzzle we needed to complete our master policy for our RPG’s hospitality liability coverages. Having the master policy allows our RPG to issue certificates directly to our members, streamlining the process that would otherwise require the issuance of individual polices through our underwriter.

“It also gives us the power to complete our integration with vacation rental property management system Hostfully, which we expect to finish and launch in the very near future,” he added.
