US: Short-term rental property management and marketing software, MyVR, has announced an integration with the Global Distribution System [GDS].
The integration leverages MyVRโs new unit-type management feature for optimising inventory types.
Through the Global Distribution System integration, MyVRโs short-term rental property management users can now list their units and unit-types with distribution partners Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo, Worldspan and Galileo by Travelport. They will also be able to reach more than 600,000 global travel agencies and tour operators booking travel product for corporate and leisure travellers.
The partnership is set to open up increased options of accommodation type for corporate travellers seeking greater choice.
MyVR CEO and co-founder, Jonathan Murray, said: โThis integration with the GDS creates an exciting opportunity for increased distribution to more travellers directly from MyVRโs software. With MyVRโs unit-type management capabilities, clients can now market similar units as a multi-unit listing for simplified management and increased performance on the channels.โ
Oasis CEO and co-founder, Parker Stanberry, said: โWe struggled to find a connection to the GDS that was built for alternative accommodations. MyVR has solved that problem, allowing us to generate more business from our corporate and travel agency clients.โ
The MyVR software platform has been designed and built to support property managers in maximising their performance with automation and proprietary industry insights through one unified dashboard. The platform also directly connects to the five major OTAs and a further 70+ listing sites.
