Neat Suites to launch eight themed rentals in hotel

US: In downtown Covington, Kentucky, Neat Suites will operate eight short term rentals in the Pickle Factory Boutique Hotel from June 21.

The rentals will be available for booking through Neat Suites, which will operate the building at 420 Madison Avenue. Each of the eight suites will have its own theme.

Formally known as the Wenzel Building, built in 1873, the warehouse was redeveloped by Tony Milburn and cost $1.9 million.

Milburn said: “The history of this building is just awesome – it’s been so many things. It’s just a wonderful example of an 1870s-style industrial building, and it’s had a rough life. But its scars are what make it beautiful.”

Now referred to as the Pickle Factory, the property will also host a “bourbon blending experience”.

Jeremiah Hines and Ed Feldmann, Neat Suites co-founders, said: “We are so excited to push the bar of guest experience with these themed, high design, short-term rentals. This is not a place guests will come to simply sleep for a night, they will come here to live in the moment. It’s a place where imagination and reality collide.”

Neat Suites, based in Covington, was founded in 2019.  The property management company currently has listings in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.
