Operto integrates with property management suite Cloudbeds

US: Operto Guest Technologies will integrate its Smart Stay property automation solution with Cloudbeds, a hospitality management system.

Operto enables property managers to enhance operations, providing control of smart home devices so that units can be viewed in real-time and workflows can be automated.

Its flagship Smart Stay solution fully automates guest entry by programming unique entry codes for every reservation onto keypad locks.

According to Booking.com, 63 per cent of guests want a keyless solution for entry into a property. With no action required by the manager, guests are therefore provided with the convenience of a fully secure 24/7 self check-in – no app required.

Other Smart Stay solutions includes monitoring noise, occupancy, and air quality.

Energy savings can be made known through an intelligent thermostat control, and smart alerts can be scheduled to reduce turnover time and operational costs.

Cloudbeds is a hotel management suite that offers hoteliers and hosts a central solution to run properties effectively. Its Hospitality Management Suite includes a PMS, booking engine, channel manager with 300+ connections, revenue management tool, and payments.

Sebastien Leitner, head of global partnerships at Cloudbeds, said: “Operto makes use of our innovative marketplace and app store providing mutual customers a smooth and easy-to-use onboarding experience. All relevant and critical data points are fully synchronised with the application providing our users with an enhanced experience.”

Michael Driedger, co-founder and CEO of Operto said: “We are very excited about our integration with Cloudbeds. Hotels and hostels are a customer base that have been interested in our Smart Stay solution for some time and the Cloudbeds integration makes that so much easier and streamlined.”

Operto is currently working with hotels, vacation rentals, serviced apartments, as well as other accommodation alternatives across North America, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.

Cloudbeds is used by thousands of hosts in over 148 countries, and enable properties to compete alongside bigger brands in hospitality.
