Barcelona: Rentals United has announced the second edition of its Vacation Rental Tech Week run of industry events with a focus on vacation rental technology solutions will be held in Barcelona between 4 and 8 November.
The week will end with the Short Stay Summit on 8 November, and the event has partnered with the European Holiday Home Association (EHHA), which will hold its annual General Assembly at the show. Members of the association will come from all over Europe and the event is expected to draw more than 300 property managers and owners.
Preceding this event will be a โVrTech Eventโ taking place on Thursday 7 November at the Barcelona Hesperia Tower Hotel. Meanwhile, earlier that day, Rentals United has announced it will also host its own โDistribution Workshopโ.
Over the next few weeks, more events will be announced to round off the diversity of the Vacation Rental Tech Week and the tech solutions that are innovating in the space.
The first ever Vacation Rental Tech Week was held in Barcelona in early April and was headed up by event highlights such as a Vreasy โBoat Partyโ, a โBlockchain and Vacation Rentals Workshopโ sponsored by Vacation Rental Rocket, a Guesty & Friends meet-up and a โBeyond Pricingโ event. The KigoWorld two-day event coincided with the largest โVrTech Eventโ to be held to date and was sponsored by Rentals United.
Founder of VrTech and CMO of Rentals United, Vanessa de Souza Lage, said: โVacation Rental Tech Week was born from the idea that in order for us to grow and innovate in the vacation rental world, we must come together regularly to share and connect ideas.
โLast April, hundreds of professionals in the vacation rental world had numerous chances to gather, share, and celebrate ideas and innovation in the industry, so we encourage tech start-ups to join us again and to host an event or meetup during this week to keep the momentum going,โ she added.
