easyBNB acquires StayInProvence in France

France: Short-term rental management company easyBNB has acquired Aix-en-Provence-based property manager StayInProvence, marking the continuation of its expansion into France.

The acquisition means the combined company will become one of the leading providers in the region, managing more than 200 properties with a range of services being offered to property owners, real estate agents and developers.

Since its launch in 2016, easyBNB has shown rapid signs of expansion, growing by more than 300 per cent a year, and it now operates across several cities in Europe. The firm now has a strong presence in France and Czech Republic and it plans to expand further into Central and Southern Europe.

So far, the company has generated more than €2 million in revenue for its clients.

This year, easyBNB has also started offering business-to-business services to property developers and property agents, allowing them to tap into the fast-growing short-term rental market.

Co-founder & CEO of easyBNB, Kevin Gestin, said: “We are very excited about this acquisition. StayInProvence has become one of the most recognised property managers in Aix-en-Provence in just a few years, building a very strong relationship with apartment and villa owners in the region.

“We share the same values in taking great care of our owners’ properties and guests coming to them. It came as evidence for us to work together and we are looking forward to working with the local team and expanding further to establish easyBNB as a leader.

“The acquisition is in line with the easyBNB’s strategy as we plan to open more cities in France but also in other countries, and it will be done organically and through the acquisition of other local property managers. As we receive more and more demand from property owners and investors, we will be growing our portfolio of apartments, chalets and villas,” he added.

The StayInProvence team will join easyBNB and all jobs will be maintained.

StayInProvence co-founder and CEO, Romain Giacalone, said: “We wish the best to the easyBNB team in Aix and especially to Audrey, who, after a season at StayInProvence, becomes city manager for easyBNB in Aix.

“We are extremely proud that easyBNB takes up the torch of StayInProvence in the Aix-en-Provence region! Since our creation three years ago, we have welcomed more than 1500 guests and managed more than 1200 stays, in 40 accommodations.

“Our greatest wish when we decided to focus on other projects was to find a company that would provide the same quality of service that we have offered for three years to the owners and guests,” he added.

Vacation rental expert Giacalone will be focusing on various projects related to online training dedicated to managers, agencies and owners, to help them avoid mistakes and move faster, by sharing his knowledge and experience. He will be also cooperating with companies such as PriceLabs and Nuki.

easyBNB is looking to further consolidate the market by teaming up with the best local and regional service providers. The company employs around 50 staff across all markets and is currently hiring at the website here.
