US: Hipcamp has added 36 parks from RJourney to its booking platform, as the North American RV resort operator looks to expand distribution and reach younger campers.
The parks, spread across 18 states, form part of RJourney’s wider portfolio of nearly 50 properties in the US and Canada.
Destinations now live on Hipcamp include Bryce Canyon, Utah Kenanna RV Resort, Washington and Willow Beach RV Park, Texas.
RJourney’s sites offer RV and tent pitches, as well as cabins and yurts. Amenities include swimming pools, playgrounds and sports fields, alongside Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.
Alyssa Ravasio, founder and chief executive of Hipcamp, said RJourney had built “a standout portfolio” of resorts in high-demand destinations, adding that the parks offer the level of guest experience Hipcamp users expect.
RJourney is the latest operator to use Hipcamp as an online travel agent distribution channel, following Sun Outdoors, Blue Water Hospitality and Spacious Skies Campgrounds in North America, and Ingenia, NRMA and Hampshire Holidays in Australia.
David Ross, chief executive of RJourney, said park managers had identified Hipcamp integration as a priority in order to increase visibility and attract younger campers.
