SaffronStays reveals Dubai expansion plans for 2020

India: Indian vacation rental platform SaffronStays has revealed its plans for expansion into Dubai over the next 12 months.

Arabian Business reported that the company “hopes to have 600 properties on its platform by 2020 as part of an international expansion that will include Dubai”.

SaffronStays founder Devendra Parulekar told Times of India: โ€œFor the time being, we are looking at exotic destinations like Bali, Sri Lanka, Dubai and London are our target locations and planning to expand in these countries within a span of two years.”

As part of its expansion plans, SaffronStays is aiming to onboard lodging such as heritage homes, farmstays, luxury stays and villas that cater to large groups and events, by the end of next year

The company itself does not own the properties listed on its platforms, so instead it says it โ€œmonetises estates by turning idle investments into earning assetsโ€. It also curates boutique homes and partners exclusively with firms to manage issues such as hospitality operations, branding, marketing and reservations.
