SendSquared closes $1m seed funding round

US: SendSquared, a marketing communications technology platform for the hospitality industry, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Minneapolis-based private equity firm Cobalt Capital Partners.

Founded in 2018, SendSquared says that it plans it use to the capital to enhance its product, expand its sales, marketing and product development teams, and cultivate strategic partnerships.

SendSquared’s technology platform is designed to help hotels, resorts and vacation rental management companies elevate their marketing and communications strategies through email, text, voice, booking and wifi. It also enables hospitality representatives to interact with guests in real-time through a variety of channels using guest data in order to provide the best possible guest experience, and ultimately drive increased guest retention, direct bookings and revenue margins.
