Worldwide: The 2023 Shortyz Awards received a record number of entries during the submissions period which closed last week, with more than 390 entries submitted right across the world – a rise of more than 10 per cent on the figures for 2022.
Professionals from across the global short-term / vacation rental industry had from the start of December until last week to submit their no-cost entries across the 20 Shortyz categories, which included the Rentalpreneur Award – a new category for 2023.
The Shortyz now move to the next stage, when an esteemed panel of expert judges will assess all of the entries to assemble 20 shortlists, which will be unveiled in April. The companies and individuals who are successful in making shortlists will then enter into a short voting period – the award winners will then be determined by a 50:50 split between the judge scores and the public vote.
The 2023 Shortyz Awards will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the ArcelorMittal Orbit in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Wednesday 26 April, as the industry comes together to recognise excellence amongst industry peers, highlight innovation and industry best practice, reward achievement, and celebrate startup technology.
