UK: The entries period for the 2024 Shortyz Awards – the leading dedicated awards ceremony for the global short-term / vacation rental sector – has officially opened.
The Shortyz are open to all global short-term / vacation rental professionals, from property managers / operators to booking platforms [OTAs], hosts, suppliers and more. The entries period will remain open until 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 13 March 2024 and you can enter as many categories as you wish and are eligible for at no cost.

Once again, the Shortyz judges will be looking for high-quality, evidence-based entries that specifically fulfil all the outlined criteria. Entries can be written in text or bullet point form, and be supported by additional documentation [e.g. PDFs], images and video.
As previously announced on Monday, a new ‘Team of the Year’ category has been announced for the 2024 Shortyz, ahead of the staging of the fifth edition of the event in April.
One of 20 categories for 2024 [and the only new category this year], the Team of the Year category will be eligible to all companies and teams within the short-term rental industry across the value chain, including property management companies, online booking platforms and agencies [OTAs], service providers, and more.
With each category again being decided by a 50:50 split between judge scores and a public vote, the judges will be looking for evidence of a healthy team culture, the team’s impact on company performance, and its commitment to ESG [Environmental, Social, Governance] initiatives, including endorsing net zero strategies, supporting community / charitable projects, and promoting diversity in the workforce.
The 2024 Shortyz Awards will take place on Tuesday 23 April [the day before the Short Stay Summit] at the Skyline London, 100 Minories, EC3N 1JY – which was also the venue for our 2022 awards. Book your tickets now here.
