SkyRun Vacation Rentals to host ColoradoRentals.com

Colorado: SkyRun Vacation Rentals is to become the host of ColoradoRentals.com, with 650 Colorado properties now listed and available for booking.

It comes after the company’s CEO, Barry Cox, made the decision to purchase the rights to the popularly-named URL.

Cox said: “I saw the opportunity to increase exposure for our Colorado properties, while keeping the URL within the Colorado family. It was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made since starting, and one that I am confident will bring exceptional exposure and support our, already phenomenal, booking rates.”

What is significant about Colorado as a destination for the company?

Colorado is one of the fastest-growing vacation destinations in America, with annual growth in tourism rates as well as investment in vacation rental properties.

As host to ColoradoRentals.com, SkyRun, which will still be accessible through SkyRun.com, will seek to capitalise on online search terms for Colorado vacation rentals, as well as brand association with those terms.

Cox added: “It’s important for us to provide industry-leading technology and marketing for all of our destinations and properties. Launching ColoradoRentals.com in addition to our successful SkyRun.com not only supports that but also sets us apart from larger, corporately structured, competition.”

Why was the acquisition a key milestone for SkyRun?

The acquisition of the rights to ColoradoRentals.com represented an important milestone for the company, which was founded and headquartered in Colorado and voted as a “Best of Summit” winner for three years.

Colorado is now home to 11 of the company’s destinations and 650 properties.

How is the additional site performing now?

SkyRun has already achieved bookings through the additional site, and with 24 destinations in total and 1,000 properties across North America, the company wants to acquire state-based URLs as additional landing sites for all of its destinations.
