UK: Stayjam, a new multi-platform event provider for short stay specialists and accommodation businesses, has announced the launch of its corporate identity, name and dateline.
Stayjam is the successor to the award-winning Short Stay Show which ran in ExCeL in March 2020 and will be replacing it moving forward.
Stayjam founder Jim Curry said: “2020 was an extraordinary year and it has seen many, many changes in how we interact, connect and communicate with each other under the shadow of Covid-19. What has become clear amongst organisers is that the traditional model of events has changed forever – even when the Covid restrictions ease or get lifted.
“With that in mind, over the last few months we have been building a new model which will still have events at its core but importantly keep people safe. We have taken the decision to pause our scheduled 2021 event until next year which is confirmed as Tuesday 1 March 2022 in London.
“Between then and now we are working with new initiatives such as the first edition of the Stayjam Playbook which will be published later this month. When the Covid pandemic eases, which we hope to see in the latter part of this year, we are planning on a series of UK regional meet ups in a safe and secure environment,” he added.
The Stayjam Playbook will be a 180-page guide to help accommodation businesses in 2021, featuring guidance, advice, checklists and trends for the UK market to help operators and businesses get more bookings.
Stayjam is owned, managed and operated by Buyer Meets Seller Ltd; specialists in high-growth hospitality, travel and tourism events, both in the UK and internationally with experience of innovative formats such as Be My Guest and Short Stay Show.
